Good install question. Installing our garage slatwall panels on metal studs is definitely possible. You’ll just want to make sure you use the correct metal stud screws that are designed to anchor securely into metal framing. These are usually available online or at your local hardware store...just double-check that they’re rated for metal stud installation. An important note is you will need them to be flat head too.
In most cases, you’ll also want screws that are at least 1.75 inches long (or longer) to ensure they go through the drywall and still have enough thread engagement with the metal stud.
This is a common setup for customers installing PVC slatwall panels or garage wall storage systems in homes or commercial buildings with metal framing.
