Good question. The dimensions of this box extender are 1.75" wide x 2.75" tall x 1.75" deep.
These are perfect for single light switches or outlets....and help pull the electrical units forward. When slatwall is installed around existing light switches or outlets, the faceplates can end up being sunken behind the new wall surface. These extenders allow you to pull the electrical box forward....so the faceplate can be reinstalled flush with the slatwall, giving you a clean and finished look.
